Rijken Cup

A Tyndale Team Effort

This year’s Rijken Cup saw a combined squad of Year 11 and 12 students from Tyndale Strathalbyn, Harvest Christian College (Kadina), and Tyndale Murray Bridge come together to represent with passion and pride. For the first time, our teams were not just participants but genuine contenders, pushing the top schools in a strong and spirited competition.

On the court and field, our students gave it their all. The netball girls showed grit and teamwork to finish 3rd out of 10 schools, while the table tennis boys powered through to a well-earned 2nd place. Basketball was another standout, with both boys and girls displaying skill, teamwork, and absolute class in their performances. Soccer may not have been our strongest result, but the players still showcased courage and a promising foundation for the future. Volleyball brought energy, laughter, and competitive spirit, and even when results didn’t fall our way, our students embodied the Tyndale values throughout.

Overall, the 2025 Rijken Cup was a proud moment. For the first time, we weren’t just showing up – we were truly competing. Beyond results, the way our students carried themselves reflected the mission and values of our school communities, leaving all staff in attendance incredibly proud.
