Small Class Coming in 2022

Small Classes – focused on your child’s learning needs.

We are excited to be launching our Small Class in 2022 as part of the suite of educational offerings at Tyndale Christian School – Strathalbyn.

The small class is designed to cater for students with mild intellectual disability and/or complex learning needs. Our small class sizes will be a maximum of 12 and will cater for students in Reception to Year 3 in the first year and growing after that. There will be a designated Small Class Teacher and two Education Support Officers for 12 students with the required ratio of educator to students 1:4.

We see this as an opportunity to serve our community and current students and families better by catering for those who may learn best in a highly supported learning environment. Our aim is to see all students in our School achieve at the very best level that they can.

We are excited about this initiative for our school community and the wider Strathalbyn Town. It puts us in the unique space of being able to cater for whole families with a wide range of educational needs for their children.
