Grandparents’ Day returns in 2022 at Tyndale Christian School to celebrate all the grandparents of Tyndalian students.
Grandparents’ Day is one of the most important days at Tyndale Christian School. It’s a day to celebrate the grandparents of all Tyndalian students.
Due to the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic and to protect our most vulnerable within the community, our annual Grandparents’ Day was not held this year. Instead, we opted for alternative ways to encourage the precious relationship between our students and their grandparents.
Students from the Early Learning Centre to Year 9 wrote lovely messages about their grandparents on special cards provided by their teachers and gave them to their grandparents.
The messages from our students showed how much they love and appreciate their grandparents for all the things they have done for them over the years.
At Tyndale Christian School, one of the brand pillars that define our School that we teach our students is the importance of ‘Community’. Grandparents’ Day aligns with this pillar, as it is all about coming together to celebrate the grandparents in our community.
We know the importance of the relationship between the grandparents and students and value their wisdom in what they have taught the students as they have grown up. Celebrating Grandparents’ Day is important to the School as it encourages the cross-generational relationship between a grandparent and their grandchild.
We look forward to welcoming the Grandparents within our Tyndale community back on-site in 2023.
