In 1991 the foundations of a new school were laid in the tranquil country town of Strathalbyn. At that time a scripture of promise "all your children will be taught by the Lord and great will be your children's peace" (Isaiah 54:13) also formed the predominant values upon which Murraylands Christian College was built.
Murraylands Christian College commenced with 10 primary students in one classroom, with no government funding or assistance and was a significant ministry initiative of Emmanuel Christian Outreach. From these humble beginnings the College has flourished with low fees and significant sacrifice on behalf of the Church, staff and parents to see a quality Christian Education that caters from Early Learning Centre to Year 12. In 2000, Murraylands Christian College Murray Bridge opened its doors as a feeder school in Year 8 to Murraylands Christian College Strathalbyn.
At the end of 2014 Mr Ken Allen, Principal for 15 years, retired, and Dr Johan Griesel took over the leadership of the School.
In January 2015 a new School was born under the banner of the Tyndale Christian School banner. Tyndale Christian School along with its Board of Governors took over the ownership and governance of the School resulting in Tyndale Christian School Strathalbyn opening its doors in January 2015 to continue serving Strathalbyn and neigbouring communities.
We praise God for this wonderful new part of our History.
